Sailor Moon Crystal Episode 7
Thoughts on today's awesome episode:
- Stuck close to the manga, only mild changes... You know the drill by now.
- Love the flashback to Mamoru's childhood. Aw, he was so excited to go out with his parents on his birthday.
- Wow, Zoisite's already healed after being hit by Sailor Moon's attack? The episode after Jupiter kicked Nephrite's butt, his arm was still hurting. Either Nephrite was juat faking for sympathy or Jupiter's attacks are REALLY strong.
- I never realized that Beryl's hair was so long.
- It's a DVD rental store instead of a video rental store, as to expected. (Although kinda surprised they didn't go with Blu-Ray.)
- And of course Ami would have a tablet.
- Usagi on Umino, who sneaks up on them and interrupts their convo about Sailor V - "He's totally creepy!" I agree, Usagi, I agree.
- Luna's such a bad liar.
- Usagi! There are more proper ways to eat a lunch than sticking your head right into Makoto's basket like some kind of animal.
- Awesome battle against Zoisite!
- Aw, Tuxedo Kamen's original wish was to find the crystal and get his memories back, but now all he wants is to be with Usagi.
- Was it only me, or did anybody else get flashbacks to the fight between Tuxedo Kamen and Zoisite from the first series? Especially when Zoisite created that ice crystal?
- The one thing that bothered me is Usagi not even trying to fight back when Zoisite is just holding her arm. When he had her in a headlock, that was fine because she was struggling just to keep breathing, but the second time she had one arm free but didn't do anything!
- And, yay, Sailor Venus finally arrives! (I'm not really liking the snippet of her transformation we saw in the preview, though.)
Definite improvement from the last episode, and one of the best so far, up there with the first episode and Jupiter's debut. Excited to see more of Minako/Venus next time!
