I thought it was a little rushed, but I liked that Riiko got a chance of happiness with both guys, even if it was just a little while with Night. It's better that she ultimately ends up with Soshi at the end though, since he's a normal human, and he can give her the things Night couldn't, like marriage, kids, the ability to grow old with her, etc. Her originally picking Night over a real human was a bit strange for me at first since he was a figure, but considering how much those two went through together, I think they deserved a little drama-free happiness, and I'm so glad Riiko decided not to put her life on hold forever on the off-chance that Night could be fixed. That truly would have been pathetic. Instead, she's moving on with her life and finding happiness with Soshi, proving that you can find love again after tragedy.
You know, the ending actually reminded me a little of the end to Ayashi no Ceres, but I won't say anymore, since I know you're reading that. *zips lips*
