Merchandise Round-up!
It's been a while since I've talked about new Sailor Moon merchandise I've bought, so here's what I've added to my collection since November.
This is probably my favorite new buy: a Proplica Moon Chalice! I've been wanting and wanting and WANTING something from the Proplica line, but everything is just so incredibly expensive, so when I found this baby on eBay for around $50, I had to get it. Regular price is more like $100, so a very good deal. Unfortunately, it needs a special type of battery to light up. I didn't really see much of a point in buying one just to light it up once or twice, so I just found a YouTube video that shows what it does. Good enough!
These Super Sailor Moon and Chibi Moon plushes are another thing I've been wanting for a while. In fact, there was a pretty amusing story behind this purchase, but it's been so long that I've forgotten most of the details... Well, what I remember is that I originally tried to buy this a while back (last summer?). The seller had it set up where you could make an offer, but when I actually did make an offer, the seller said that his wife would be angry if he sold it for that cheap and in fact wanted more for it than he had listed it for. Okay, whatever. A few months passed and the same seller had it for sale again, for cheaper than he was asking for the first time and again accepting offers. I made another offer, and that time he actually accepted it. So, I got it for a better price than my original offer! (Hopefully his wife isn't angry with him, though!)
This is a pretty Sailor Pluto ribbon charm. I bought it in a set with the Uranus, Neptune, Chibi Moon, and Sailor Moon charms, but I was really only interested in the Pluto one, so I sold the rest on eBay.
Here's a Sailor Pluto wall scroll I've actually been wanting for a while, but I always put it off because I just didn't know where I would hang it. There was really no place for it in my room unless I took down my old Crystal Tokyo wall scroll, and I didn't really want to do that. Well, Mom ended up surprising me with it for Christmas and suggested that I just hang it over my computer in the den, so that's what I did!
Speaking of Christmas, how cute are these holiday-themed Outer Senshi Petit Charas? Unfortunately, I just got them a couple of weeks ago, well after Christmas was over, but I just had to buy them to join my Inners set.
Another recent purchase are these super-duper adorable 10th anniversary plushes! I've also been wanting these for a while and lucked into winning an auction for all five of them for only $36. That's a really good price for them in my experience.
These are Neptune and Uranus Tamashii Buddies. The Uranus I got for Christmas; Neptune I bought myself.
These, of course, are more Sailor Moon Funko Pops. Since the Sailor V is an exclusive and was a little more expensive than the rest, I decided to keep her in the box. The rest I received as Christmas gifts from my sister, except for Saturn, which I bought with some of my birthday money, and the keychains, which are a recent purchase.
And not Sailor Moon-related, but I also bought these three Yuri On Ice Funko Pops, which you might have noticed in the picture of my Christmas tree.
