Fannish 5 - Feb. 6

Man, another long break between updates. My life is totally boring. -_-

Well, anyway, I still don't really have anything interesting to talk about, but today's fannish5  question is kind of fun, so here goes.

Name 5 characters you would not want to trade lives with.

1. Any of the Sohmas (Fruits Basket) -- Changing into animals whenever hugged by the opposite sex and forced to obey Akito's whims? No thank you. (It's hard to choose who really has it the worst, since they all have it pretty bad, but if I had to choose just one who I wouldn't want to be, then it would probably be Rin. But then again, she does have Hatsuharu and awesome fashion sense...)

2. Harry Potter, especially pre-Hogwarts. (Harry Potter) - I hate the Dursleys. End of explanation.

3. Ikari Shinji (Evangelion) - His life just sucks.

4. Chise (Saikano) - Her body is turned into the ultimate weapon. Nothing good comes out of that.

5. Sailor Pluto, pre-resurrection/reincarnation (Sailor Moon) - She may be my favorite senshi, but I don't envy her position as the Guardian of Time at all. How incredibly dull it must be to stand guard at the Time Gates for thousands and thousands of years, with only the occasional visitor.

You know, part of me wishes Pluto had been written as a total nutjob. Like any time someone came to the gates, she just started sobbing hysterically and clinging to them, begging them not to leave. Like what would happen if you put Minako in charge.

I second the idea. Minako as Time Guardian would be priceless to see! *laughs* And it's not like handing the reins to somebody else is completely unprecedented in canon. Pluto did leave Diana in charge for a short time during the Black Moon arc of the manga...

Shigure is the best (When I get another dog in a couple years I want to name him either Shigure or Helios, how's that for weird fangirling?)!

He he, I don't know what it is about Princess Tutu that makes it so open to crack, but I love it!

I once had a cat named Serenity. Haven't named any pets after Helios -- yet -- but that's mainly because most of the pets we get tend to be female. If we do ever get a male pet, though, his name is totally going to be Helios, so you won't get me calling you weird. *laughs* Shigure would be a great name for a dog, considering his zodiac animal!

My kitties were Rhett, Scarlet, Ashley and Melanie, but that was mainly my mom's doing. My dog is female, she is a Golden Retriever and thus will not be going with me to college (it wouldn't be fair to her, she needs exercise). I hope to get a smaller one when I'm settled at school, and it will definitely be a boy. I think his name will depend on his fur, black/dark Shigure, white/light Helios.

I know right and dogs are little perverts anyway, totally Shigure!
