I've got my fingers crossed...

Sentai Filmworks has re-licensed one of my favorite series, Someday's Dreamers. While that bit of news isn't particularly exciting to me, since I already own the series -- although it would be great if more people discovered it this time around! -- the note that the company "can neither confirm or deny" that it also has the license for the second series has got me definitely intrigued. Oh, man, that would be so awesome if they did! And, personally, I don't see a real point in rereleasing the first series unless they're trying to drum up interest in the second, so my gut is telling me they probably do. Oh, please, please let it be true!

(And if somebody would license the manga as well, that would just be icing on cake, although that might be too much to hope for with Tokyopop -- who put out the other two manga series -- gone. Oh, well, a girl can dream!)

Yeah, it came out about a year or two ago. It has different characters than the original series, though, and the main character Sora attends a magic training course instead of doing an apprenticeship like Yume did. The new series also has a live-action movie adaptation (which I haven't seen) and a manga (which I've only read the first couple of chapters of).
