Lessee, what else to talk about... Oh, I finally got the second Cowboy Bebop DVD in this weekend from Netflix after waiting for months for it to become available. I have to admit that this bunch of episodes was much better than the first one, which I wasn't too impressed with. I loved "Waltz for Venus" and the one with Jet's old girlfriend, and Ed is a lot of fun. ^_^ I also watched a couple of episodes dubbed since I heard how good it was supposed to be and discovered that it really is a great dub. *shocked gasp*

The funny thing is that my mom absolutely adores the show. I think she's more interested in it than I am, if you can believe that. She was actually disappointed when she saw the preview for the eleventh episode and found out that she would have to wait until the next disc to see it. *laughs* I have a cool mother.

Is this your first time watching CB? Fun! ^^

You know I'm a purist, but I actually only watch CB dubbed. The voice acting is excellent, the translation is accurate, and I feel a series like that needs the relaxed casual tone of hearing it in your native language. Plus, then I can focus on the lovely animation rather than the text.

Ed's smiley face!

Yeah, I'm a CB virgin. ^_^ Everybody kept telling me how good it was, so I thought I would check it out even though it's more of a shounen show and I'm mostly a shoujo fan.

I think I'll probably stick with the subtitled version for the rest of the episodes (just because I always do), but if I have the time before I have to send the discs back to Netflix, I wouldn't mind watching the dub as well. It really is excellent.
