30 Days On Fanfic - Day 10

Day 10 – Pairings – Have you ever gone outside your comfort zone and written a pairing you liked, but found you couldn't write, or a pairing you didn't like, and found you could?

Not really? At least I can't think of any off the top of my head. Maybe Yuki/Tohru from Fruits Basket? I'm much more of a Kyo/Tohru fan, but it wasn't that hard to write a Y/T fic for my 15pairings claim. Then again, it's not like I really disliked the paring. I just had a definite preference for the other. In the same vein, I guess you can count Leon/Sora from Kaleido Star. I definitely prefer Ken/Sora, but I'm writing a Leon/Sora fic at the moment that's going pretty well so far. It probably helps that it takes place several years post-canon. I find it hard to ship them in the canon timeline since Sora reminds Leon so much of his dead little sister, but give them some time for Leon to start seeing Sora as her own person, and they've got potential.
