Oh, where is it?!
Oct. 8th, 2007 02:10 pmIt appears I may have lost one of my Magic Knights Rayearth DVDs. :( I watched it about a week or so ago, but when Mom took it out of the DVD player to watch one of her movies, she didn't put it back in the case (which was right by the TV) or in the stack of loose DVDs needing to be put back into cases, and now I can't find it anywhere! *sigh* I'm afraid it might have accidentally gotten stuck on the back a DVD we sent back to Netflix or something, because it seriously isn't anywhere near the entertainment center where it should be.
Grr.
Well, if it is lost for good, I suppose it won't be that difficult to replace, despite being part of a boxset. All the company did was put the individual discs all together in a multi-disc keepcase with no changes to the actual content or design, so all I need to do is buy the disc I'm missing, which is fortunately still available at Right Stuf, and the set will be just like new. I do not want to spend $26 to replace a single disc, though; that's almost as much as I paid for the entire boxset, both seasons included! Gah.
Hopefully, Mom remembers where she might have put it and I won't have to waste my money replacing it. *crosses fingers*
EDIT: Phew! Good news, folks. I found it! While writing this rant, I started wondering if maybe Mom accidentally put the lost disc in the case to one of her movies, so I started putting the loose discs back in their respective cases and found mine in The Fog. Boy, that's a relief!
