I came across that quiz while googling for possible new links for my Kaleido Star website and just had to take it! I always did think I was most like Mia, so I'd say it's pretty accurate. ^_^

Speaking of my websites, I'm mostly done updating the series specific sites (Yume no Kagami, Kaze no Hana, and Mirai no Tsubasa). There are a few things I want to add to Yume no Kagami, but I can save those for another time.

Gah, April is halfway over, and I haven't posted a single entry this month! Well, it's not like there's much to report anyway. I finally managed to get over my block on Melting Ice after taking a short break to work on a couple of scenes from that Chibi-Usa/Helios incubus story I mentioned last time. I'm not totally happy with this chapter, but I guess it'll do. I plan to post it either tomorrow or Friday at the usual places.

In other news, I have officially started watching my 100th anime series. ^_^ For those who didn't catch my announcement at .moon, I went with Gurren Lagann, which I'm quite enjoying so far. Kamina cracks me up! Of course, I already know what's going to happen to him, as I am a Spoiler Queen and found out about it long before I even considered watching it, so it'll be interesting to see how much I still like the show after that event happens... (In fact, I think the event in question is supposed to happen on the disc I should be getting in today.) He's pretty much my favorite character so far. But Yoko and Simon are cool, too, so hopefully it'll be okay.

Man, I'm so unmotivated to do much of anything lately. I've been meaning to update this thing since at least...last Friday, I think, but last week's fannish5 question wasn't all that interesting to me and I didn't have anything else to talk about, so I just...didn't.

Ugh, why is it so hard to find some cute anime Christmas icons? I have three Sailor Moon ones I found by chance a few months ago, but nothing else has caught my eye. *sigh* I suppose I can use three of my own holiday icons to fill up the limit on this journal, but I'd really rather not, since I already used them last year, and they aren't that great.

Oh, well.

In other news, I can't believe how much fanfiction I've written these past five (has it been that long?) years. I mean, sure, I knew I'd written quite a few stories, but the sheer amount just didn't really hit me until I started editing and reformating every thing for

oyster_shell (which reminds me that I really need to either find or make icons for that as well). At least I have most of that done, if not yet posted on the journal. Now I just have the two biggies to go through: Spirit of Fire and Against the Rules. Ugh. Hopefully I'll have everything up and posted by the end of the year. Then I'll be able to get back to some serious writing. I haven't written anything substantial in weeks. :(

Seriously, it is even more boring than usual, which is why I haven't posted much this month. *sigh* Mostly, I've just been busy planning for my Nano novel. I'm trying a new tactic this time, by writing a short summary of each and every scene I want to write so I won't have to waste valuable writing time trying to decide what comes next. We'll see how it turns out. If it goes well, I might start using it for all of my multi-part writing, instead of my usual screen-writing-style planning.

I've also recently finished watching several anime series I've rented from Netflix. Fullmetal Alchemist is awesome. I would say that I'm putting it on my To Buy list, but it would be very expensive to collect, since instead of one boxset, there are going to be like three or four. :( Oh, well, I still may get it anyway, because it is just that good. I also finished a couple of short twelve episode series: Sentimental Journey and Nanaka 6/17 (which I guess is technically thirteen episodes, counting the bonus episode). Sentimental Journey was good, but, personally, I think Diamond Daydreams did the whole "separate, but interconnected, stories based on a dating-sim" thing better, especially since in DD, each girl got two episodes to herself, while the SJ girls only got one each. And Nanaka 6/17 is just adorable. ^_^ I wouldn't mind owning that series as well, but I'll probably only get it if I can find a good deal on it. I want it, but not all that much.
