30 Day Manga/Anime Meme - Day 14

Oops, I kinda forgot about this thing. Well, before getting to today's question, just want to note that the fourth chapter of No Longer Alone has been posted at the usual places.

Now, the meme.

14. A manga/an anime that makes you cry.

Oh, man, there are tons of series that make me cry, but I'll only pick one for each.

For anime, I'm going to say Pretear, because it's the strength of its tear-jerking finale that I consider it one of my all-time faves. I'm pretty much a sobbing mess whenever I finish watching it. Sobbing. Mess.

Manga... Well, manga doesn't tend to make me cry nearly as much as anime does, but I want to mention Rasetsu, which is a title that isn't very popular but I love. It has one of my favorite manga endings -- very bittersweet, and, oh, so cry-worthy.
