I finally got a chance to watch Amour Eternal (the latest SeraMyu based on my favorite arc) a couple of days ago, and oh, my, gosh, I totally loved it! Definite favorite! Not quite as heavily manga-based as the previous shows have been (which I expected since they left the Quartet out), but what I really liked was that it was almost a perfect mash-up of the Dream arc and SuperS season, with a couple of original twists for good measure.

- The new actresses filled their predecessors' shoes quite nicely. In particular, I thought Usagi's new actress had a better voice than the old one and had a little more chemistry with Mamoru's actress.

- The Amazon Trio were FABULOUS! I especially loved that they included the bar from the anime. That just totally made me smile since I loved the bar scenes. I also thought their interaction (along with Zirconia) with the audience during the intermission bit was a lot of fun. (Although if somebody left during the intermission, they would have missed a somewhat important plot point (that the Trio were originally animals), so I kinda question why they did it like that way.)

- Nehelenia had a gorgeous voice, although her wig was attrocious. It looked like it was made of half-hair, half-fabric? I mean, what the heck? I guess it was a way to make the wig less heavy since Nehelenia does have a lot of hair, but it just didn't look good and was very distracting.

- And HELIOS! It was neat that they gave him a different dance style than everybody else - kind of a balletic/contemporary/modern mix. And the plot twist of making him turn evil due to absorbing nightmares -- BRILLIANT! (Although ugly costume.) I cried as Tuxedo Kamen apologized for making him fight for so long on his own and ordered Helios to give him all the nightmares he had been carrying inside, saving Helios and killing himself in the process. *sob*

- The Outers family -- so adorable!

- I think this was by far the best choreographed show. The circus theme allowed them to do a lot of fun stuff: rhythmic gymnastics, acrobatics, even a little trapeze. The light up hoops were really cool.

As for things I didn't like... Well, nothing, really! I guess if I had to pick something, it was kinda disappointing that they left out the coronation part from the end of the manga arc. That's one of my favorite scenes! But it probably would have been difficult for everybody to "transform" from their senshi forms into their princess forms on stage, so I can understand why they left it out, I guess. (Although they could have just stayed in their senshi forms and still gone through the motions at least...) And Jupiter could have maybe used a little more focus. The rest of the Inners had scenes that focused at bit on exploring their dreams, but Jupiter's dreams were kinda just mentioned. Oh, well.
