The traditional year-end writing meme

Sailor Moon
The Night Before
Dissonance and Resonance
Entering Fatherhood (SOF Extra)
Christmas Treasures (SOF Extra)
To Be By Your Side (Not posted yet, and not completely finished, but the list is pathetic this year, so I'm mentioning it.)
Kaleido Star
Melting Ice (Another unposted WIP)
Fruits Basket
Gift from the Heart
Mystery Fic - Yeah, I probably shouldn't even include this since I can't say anything about it -- not even the fandom -- but I feel like it should be listed since I did write it this year.
Original
Take Two (Unfinished NaNoWriMo attempt)
Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
Well, I at least attempted most of my goals for this year, although I didn't exactly reach them... I would have like to have written more, but considering that To Be By Your Side was completely unplanned and took up most of the second half of the year, I'd say that I wrote a tiny bit more than I planned. Like, a miniscule amount.
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2008?
Eh, I kept it pretty safe this year and wrote a lot of the same kind of stories I've written in the past: Helios/Chibi-Usa, Usagi/Mamoru, Setsuna, Rei and her father... Ritsu/Mit is something new for me, but I've been planning to write a story about them ever since I signed up for 15pairings , so I can't really call it unpredictable.
What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest?
The Night Before, which is weird because I wasn't originally happy with the way it turned out, but the more times I read it, the more it grew on me. Still don't love the ending, but the rest? Pretty good, if I do say so myself.
Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them?
Hmm, I guess you could say writing for sm_fanswap was a bit of a risk for me. It's the first time I participated in a fic exchange. What did I learn? ... I like them? *laughs*
Do you have any fanfic goals for the New Year?
Pretty much the same as last year: finish Melting Ice, write more entries for 15pairings , probably do Nano again.... Yeah, those are the main things. Still really, really want to write Only Human, but how many years have I've been promising to write that fic? ... So, yeah, I wouldn't hold my breath on that one.
My Favorite Story:
Like I already said, The Night Before.
Story Most Underappreciated by the Universe:
Well, I believe Dissonance and Resonance and Gift from the Heart only got one review each, but, eh, neither of them are that great.
Most Fun:
Hmm, I'm going to say Christmas Treasures, because I rather enjoyed writing the sweeter, more romantic side of Keitaro that you rarely got to see in Spirit of Fire.
Most Disappointing:
My Nano attempt was pretty disappointing. It got off to a good start, then it sort of just nose-dived. Plus, I didn't even reach 50,000 words, so that alone makes it disappointing. Fanfic-wise, I didn't really care for Dissonance and Resonance. It didn't come out the way I intended it to.
Most Sexy and Best Sexy Moment:
Sexiest story is probably Melting Ice, but the sexiest moment is definitely Setsuna's "seduction" of Mamoru in The Night Before. That was hot. ^_^
Hardest to Write:
Parts of To Be By Your Side, since I didn't really have a clear idea of how I wanted the story to go.
Most Unintentionally Telling:
Take Two. ... No, I'm not saying why.
