heavenly_pearlI got a review for the latest installment of To Be By Your Side, comparing the dream sequence in that chapter to Evangelion, of all things. O.o It's flattering, I guess, because I was definitely going for a creepy vibe, but I don't think that scene is anywhere near being a Mind Rape, as the reviewer claims. In fact, I think it's fairly straight forward, considering it is a dream sequence. *shrugs* Ah, well, I'm just happy that that scene managed to freak at least few people out. I don't think I've ever tried writing anything like that before, so I'm glad it was effective.
