Fannish5 - April 27
Apr. 27th, 2007 10:35 amWhat are the five coolest gadgets, in any fandom?
1. Angelic Layer dolls (Angelic Layer) - I really wish they were real. :( How cool would that be, to have a doll you design yourself, then be able to compete in battles by controlling the doll's actions with your thoughts? Very.
2. Disguise Pen (Sailor Moon) - A pen that can completely change your looks? Man, I'm surprised Usagi didn't use it much more often. If I had one, I would be abusing it like nobody's business.
3. ID Rings (Someday's Dreamers) - I like the way mages use their rings in their magic. So pretty and much cooler than a wand.
4. Persocoms (Chobits) - The idea of a computer that looks and acts like a human is a bit creepy, but still kind of neat at the same time.
5. The Pillow (Super GALS) - Heh, I bet those who haven't seen the series are probably wondering what could possibly be so cool about a pillow. Well, this pillow isn't your ordinary pillow. It has the power to send you subliminal messages in your sleep and change your entire personality, as evidenced by Ran's brief transformation from Shibuya's number one gal to debutante. I don't know about the changing personality part, but it would be pretty useful if you wanted to learn a new language or something.
