Writing Meme from December

I may have actually done this one before, but it doesn't hurt to do it again! 

1. Which is your favourite fic? Out of the ones I've written? Hmm, it would probably be a three way tie between Kiss Me, Machiavelli's Folly, and Hawk's Eye View.  

2. Which is your best-received fic? Against the Rules (122) and Kiss Me (25) are my highest reviewed multi-part and one-shot, respectively, according to FF.net, so I would say probably those two.

3. Which is your worst-received fic? Not So Lucky, the Super Gals/Sailor Moon crossover I wrote for a .moon seasonal challenge, only received two reviews, both from people who had never seen Super Gals, so I guess that would be the worst received.  

4. Which is your angsty-est fic? A three-way tie between Spirit of Fire, Machiavelli's Folly, and Taboo. That'll probably change to a four-way tie once I finish Only Human, which has the potential to be the angstiest of all.

5. Which is your funniest fic? Again, another three-way tie between Tick Tock, Cupid Times Three, and Hawk's Eye View.

6. Smuttiest? Against the Rules. It's not full-out smut (other than that one scene I wrote that I didn't even include in the actual story), but it's close.

7. Fluffiest? Hmm, I guess I'll go with A Dream Come True. It's probably the closest I've come to writing a stereotypical fluffy romance, possibly excluding some entries for

sm_monthly, which I'm not counting for this meme.

 

8. Have you ever made someone cry with a fic? Yes, I've had quite a few people review me to tell me that one of my stories made them cry. I think Spirit of Fire was the one that got most people teary-eyed, although, personally, The Star of Christmas never fails to make me cry, for some reason. (It's not even that sad!) 

9. Which fic frustrates you the most? At the moment, my untitled Kaleido Star multipart, although if the question was in past tense, I'd also mention Spirit of Fire and Against the Rules. Basically, the multiparts usually frustrate me, even though I love writing them.

10. Which fic was the most fun to write? I really enjoyed working on Hawk's Eye View and Cupid Times Three. I don't think it's a coincidence that both of them happen to be Amazon Trio fics; the Trio is just incredibly fun for me to write.

11. Who is your favorite OC you've ever created? Man, this question is tough! I like a lot of my original characters. I guess if I have to choose, I'll go with Uchizawa Minoru from Spirit of Fire and Kitagawa Akira from Against the Rules. I'm also rather attached to Pilar Santos, Clarissa Bachman, and Zoe Alexandra Eido (who goes by her stage name Zoe Alexander most of the time) from my in-process Kaleido Star fic, but I haven't posted any of that yet.

12. Are you better at oneshot or multipart? I honestly can't decide. I think it depends more on the story than the length. I've written some good oneshots and multiparts, but I've also written some not-so-good ones for both categories.

13. What character do you think you're the best at portraying? People really seemed to like my portrayal of Rei in Spirit of Fire. I think I also write a pretty good Ami.

14. What character is the most difficult to portray? I used to say Makoto, but I think I did a fairly decent job with her in Against the Rules, so I guess I'm going to go with Hotaru. I have never been satisfied any time I've written her character (which is, admittedly, not much).
