Though she didn't tag me, I snagged this from [livejournal.com profile] peacewish .

1. Which is your favorite fic?

Of mine? That's always a tough decision, since my choice seems to fluctuate. But the one I suppose I most consistantly choose as my favorite is Against the Rules.

2. Which is your best-received fic?

Against the Rules has 136 reviews at FF.net, which is just amazing to me. My best-received one-shot is The Night Before, with 31 reviews.

3. Which is your worst-received fic?

Both Gift from the Heart (Fruits Basket) and Not So Lucky (SuperGALS/Sailor Moon crossover) only have one review at FF.net, although I think Not So Lucky also got a review at .moon. So I guess that means Gift from the Heart wins...not that anybody should want to win that title.

*imagines Ritsu running around and apologizing for how terrible his fic is*

4. Which is your angsty-est fic?

Hmm, that's another tough choice. Spirit of Fire, Taboo, Machiavelli's Folly... All pretty angsty, but if I have to choose the most angst-filled, then it's gotta be To Be By Your Side. Helios is in a coma that he might never come out of, Serenity's depressed and keeps having horrible nightmares about him dying, King Endymion's blaming himself for what happened, and... Well, the rest would be a spoiler, but things are going to get worst before they possibly get better.

5. Which is your funniest fic?

Man, another hard question! I'm going to say Tick Tock, though. What happens when Michiru gives Setsuna a cuckoo clock for her birthday? Hilarity ensues.

6. Smuttiest?

This one's not hard at all. That would be Against the Rules. No actual smut, but it gets close at times. (And I actually did write a lemon scene for it that I only posted here.)

7. Fluffiest?

I don't tend to write a lot of pure fluff, so it's kind of hard to pick... Maybe either A Pleasant Surprise or Secret Admirer, both from the Dream Lovers collection? They're pretty fluffy. Or Midnight Magic, a cute Sakura/Shaoran fic? I suppose Kiss Me could be considered fairly fluffy, although I don't tend to think of it as such. Still, it's about Hatori's and Mayuko's first kiss, so I think it counts.

8. Have you ever made someone cry with a fic?

Yes. In fact, I consider somebody telling me that my story made them cry the highest compliment they can give me. (Provided it's appropriate; it would be rather weird for somebody to cry at something like Tick Tock, for example.) Spirit of Fire seems the be the story most prone to bringing on the waterworks for people.

9. Which fic frustrates you the most?

The one I'm working on right now, which is Melting Ice. I have a lot of ideas for it; I just can't decide which ones I want to include. (Probably doesn't help that I keep getting distracted by icon making.)

10. Which fic was the most fun to write?

Probably Hawk's Eye View. Every one knows how much I adore the SuperS season, so it was fun writing my own "missing episode", seen totally through the eyes of one of the villains. It also features Setsuna, which is always a plus in my book.

11. Who is your favorite OC you've ever created?

Gah, this is the toughest question of them all! I love most of my original characters, but gun to my head, I'd have to say the title of "most favorite" has to be shared between Kitagawa Akira from Against the Rules and Uchizawa Minoru from Spirit of Fire. Don't make me choose between them; it's totally impossible.

12. Are you better at oneshot or multipart?

You know, I think I write both fairly well. I've never really thought of my writing in terms of short stories or multiparts. I'm comfortable with both and like writing both. It just depends on the story idea and how much time I want to put into it.

13. What character do you think you're the best at portraying?

In the Sailor Moon fandom, that would probably be Mizuno Ami/Sailor Mercury, which is ironic considering that she's my least favorite senshi. She is the senshi most like me, though, so that makes her easy to portray. I think I also do a good job writing Rei, Setsuna, and Chibi-Usa. Don't really have enough experience in other fandoms to pick a character I'm "best" at, but I have written two Mayuko stories for Fruits Basket, and I think I got her down really well.

Personality-wise, I think I'm best writing characters who put on a strong front and don't want to bother people with their problems or complaints, but who are actually quite vulnerable inside. Again, similar to me. I get it.

14. What character is the most difficult to portray?

Kino Makoto/Sailor Jupiter and Tomoe Hotaru/Sailor Saturn. I think I did a decent job with Makoto in Against the Rules, somehow, but we're so different in personality that it's a struggle to write her. And I have never successfully written an older Hotaru to my satisfaction. Kid Hotaru I can handle, kind of. (That's the main reason why she doesn't show up in To Be By Your Side, despite her close friendship with Serenity/Chibi-Usa in canon. I probably should get around to mentioning it in the story some time, but she's dead. Sorry, Hotaru!)

As for character types... It's hard to say, really. Maybe action-oriented characters?

15. Tag five other authors!

If you want to do it, feel free. I'm not going to tag.
