30 Days On Fanfic - Day 12

Day 12 – Have you ever attempted an "adaptation" fic of a favorite book or movie but set in a different fandom?

I guess you could call Only Human kind of an adaptation of The Thorn Birds, but I considered it more an "inspired by" sort of thing. The main idea was roughly the same, but the plots weren't that similar. In any case, I never did finish it, and I've pretty much given up on ever writing it.
