Some intriguing news from ANN: Viz Offers Someday's Dreamers, More CLAMP from Tokyopop Digitally
License rescuing CLAMP titles? That's a no-brainer. (The titles in question are The One I Love and Wish, by the way.) But Someday's Dreamers? I'm surprised, because I never got the impression that it was ever a big hit, despite my love for it. It's likely that all three titles were part of a bundle deal, but what if it wasn't? This kinda reminds me of when Sentai Filmworks licensed rescued the first Someday's Dreamers anime a couple of years ago. I hoped that announcement meant that they would also license the second series (Someday's Dreamers II Sora, or Someday's Dreamers: Summer Sky as I would have preferred it to be called), and lo and behold, they did end up announcing the new season about six months later. So does this mean we may get the manga counterpart as well? *crosses fingers* I wouldn't mind if it was just digital, either, since I figured out how to run the Nook app on PC through an Android emulator called BlueStacks, so no more worrying about space on my iPod touch. (Whoo! I have a feeling I'm going to be buying a lot more manga digitally from now on.) It would be awesome just to get an official release in English, no matter the method, since as far as I know, only the first couple of chapters were ever scanlated.
