Oh, my, goodness, she actually did it!
Jul. 2nd, 2016 09:04 amRemember this entry I posted a few months back, where I was charmed by the fact that the new figure skating ladies' World Champion Evgenia Medvedeva is a big Sailor Moon fan and expressed the hope that she might do a SM-themed exhibition in the future? Well...

*squees*
I honestly never expected it to happen, but it did! She's skating it in the Dreams on Ice show currently running in Japan, so pretty much the perfect choice for a number (and appropriate, since she made my dream come true). Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any videos of the program as of yet, but I'm sure one will turn up eventually. (And I hope she keeps it as her regular exhibition number next season, too.) Can't wait to see it!
Oh, and here's more proof of her geekdom:

This is from the Team Cup Challenge a couple of months ago. A fan gave her that big Sailor Moon cushion after her skate, prompting Team Europe to don hand odango!
And looking at her Twitter page, she loves a lot of anime, not just Sailor Moon. Man, I love her! I would totally give her some SM merchandise if I ever got the chance to see her in person.
