She's not a bad character. I don't hate her or anything, but she just never really clicked with me for some reason. And it kind of annoys me how at the very end of the series, (SPOILER ALERT) she becomes the next one to see Fool. I always thought if anybody else should see Fool, it should have been May, who is a much more major character (and, I admit, one of my favorites). Maybe if it had been Rosetta and May together, I wouldn't have been so annoyed. I guess I can understand the reasoning -- Sora is Rosetta's idol, while May is Sora's rival -- but, yeah...

(I totally ignore that piece of canon in Melting Ice. :P)

I wasn't Rosetta's biggest fan, either, and I'm still not. I'm with you: she's tolerable, but... eh. There are so many other, better characters.

May should've been the one to see Fool.

And what the heck was it with Rosetta becoming Sora's partner in one of the OVAs? The heck people? The heck? DX

I'm glad I'm not the only person who thinks May should have seen Fool. ^_^

Making Rosetta Sora's partner makes sense based on the ending of the series. I imagine that they were leaving things open for a possible third season in which Sora plays the Layla role (except she would be a lot nicer than Layla was at the beginning) and Rosetta takes over Sora's role as the upstart, so I can see why they made the OAV with them as partners. Still, I found that OAV rather boring. (The Layla one is so much better!)

Yes but it doesn't make sense based on the fact that Leon would never ever accept anything but spotlight. Don't think for one moment that just because he found his peace, he suddenly turned into pudding. xDD

He would accept to be second only to Sora. And even then, while being her support, he wouldn't fade into the background...Yuri didn't either. Even though Layla was the star

The anime made his character like that so they could at least stick to its own story. ^^;

P.S: And yes, I am ignoring the fact that this is a shoujo show - I don't care if girls rule the stage, common sense and character continuity shouldn't back down ya know? xDD

Ah, I forgot about Leon still being there. He played such a minor role in the OAV it's easy to forget he was even there, although it was rather amusing to see him try to play a Fool. *laughs* You're right, though. It is totally out of character for him not to make a fuss about not being one of the leads.

And actually, it's a shonen show, just with females in the lead role. It follows the shonen formula of overcoming challenges and trying to be the best at something, and the lead character doesn't even fall in love with anyone! Like that would ever happen in shoujo! *laughs*
