Men's long program

Man, the men's long program was crazy! As expected, Yuzuru Hanyu and Patrick Chan got the gold and silver, respectively, but neither of them skated their best. Denis Ten from Kazakhstan, who was all the way back in ninth after the short, got the surprise bronze. (Well, he is the reigning world silver medalist, so I suppose not a total surprise, but he hasn't been having the best season up to now.) Jason Brown had a really great shot for bronze after all the other top names made major mistakes, but he faltered and ended up ninth overall, and Jeremy Abbott was pretty much the only one to skate cleanly, albeit with a watered-down program (didn't even attempt a quad and took out his loops, which were too painful to do) after that horrific fall he had in the short program. (He end up twelfth overall.)
Oh, and Happy Valentine's Day!
