It's been a while since I've done a meme! Found this one on Tumblr.

1. first anime you ever watched

The first show I watched knowing that it was anime was Sailor Moon, but technically the first anime I ever watched was an anime version of The Little Mermaid.

Nephrite from Sailor Moon *dreamy sigh* (Or I guess I should say Neflyte, since that was his dub name.)

4. least favorite anime character

Hmm, if the question was least favorite manga character, I would say Akito from Fruits Basket, but he didn't really appear in the anime enough for me to develop a strong hatred of him. So...can I just say pretty much the entire cast of Diabolik Lovers? Not a single likeable one in the bunch.

5. list all anime you have ever watched

All? That's probably between 400-500 series and movies... I'm not going to list that many! If you're really interested, though, you can check out this post or MyAnimeList. They're not totally up-to-date at the moment, but combine those list with the series mentioned in #7 and you'll have the complete list.

6. popular anime you didn’t like

I guess maybe Mobile Suit Gundam Wing? I liked it okay, but it was mainly just "eh".

8. anime character you are most like

I'd say a combo of Ami/Sailor Mercury from Sailor Moon, Shigure from Fruits Basket, Nodaka from Negima, and Shinji from Evangelion. (And although I've only read the manga and I haven't watched the anime yet (I plan to!), I'll add Sawako from Kimi ni Todoke to the list as well. She's probably the character I'm most like without having to combine with other characters.)

Chibi-Usa from Sailor Moon

10. favorite anime animal sidekick

It feels weird calling him a sidekick, but Pegasus from Sailor Moon. Maybe Kero from Card Captor Sakura would be a better answer, since he's definitely a sidekick...

Hmm, Attack on Titan was actually a lot better than I was expecting, so I guess I'll go with that.

Kaleido Star, Kaleido Star, Kaleido Star!

13. funnest anime you have watched

Man, that's too hard to answer... If I have to give an answer, I'll say Nerima Daikon Brothers because it's so fun to sing a long with the songs (in the dub version).

15. anime you never get sick of watching

Kaleido Star, Sailor Moon, Card Captor Sakura, and Fruits Basket immediately come to mind. I think those are probably the shows I've rewatched the most.

16. 10 best animes you have watched

Well, I don't know about them being objectively the best, but my top ten list is: Kaleido Star, Death Note, Fruits Basket, Super Gals, Ginban Kaleidoscope, Princess Nine, Card Captor Sakura, Sailor Moon, Fushigi Yugi and Fullmetal Alchemist (both series; don't make me choose between them).

Helios from Sailor Moon, of course!

Starting from the worst: Di Gi Charat, Colorful, Angel's Feather, Grr Power, Kekko Kamen, Angel Sanctuary, We Without Wings, Yumeria, Ys Legacy, Diabolik Lovers

I'll stick to a Top 5: Helios/Chibi-Usa (Sailor Moon), King Endymion/Sailor Pluto (Sailor Moon Crystal), Yuri/Layla (Kaleido Star), Touya/Kaho (Card Captor Sakura), and Takeo/Yamato (My Love Story)

20. least favorite anime ships

Again, sticking to Top 5: Akio/Anthy (Utena), Rei/Aya (Super GALS), Shinji/Rei (Evangelion), Akitsuki/Suzuka (Suzuka), Yui/any of her suitors (Diabolik Lovers; see answer to #4. Seriously, this is based on a dating sim? All her "suitors" are horrible, awful people.)

Way too many to list. Not even going to try.

22. age you started watching anime/person who introduced you to it.

I started watching Sailor Moon when I was probably around twelve or thirteen, I think. I wouldn't say anybody "introduced" me to it, but I did first come across it while my mother was flipping channels one morning. As for that Little Mermaid movie I mentioned before, I don't remember the age when I first saw it, but I do remember it was the very first tape my parents bought for me and my sister when we got our first VHS player. (And I actually still have that tape!) I want to say we bought it in maybe 1989? I would have been around five or six then.

I honestly can't think of any.

25. anime you would recommend to someone who hates anime

Hmm, I suppose Monster would be most accessible to general non-fans, but it's hard to really answer this question because it depends on why the person hates anime.

27. anime you plan to watch in the future

I mentioned Kimi ni Todoke already... Lessee what else I have on the list: Black Butler: Book of Circus and Book of Murder, K-On!, Arakawa Under the Bridge, the rest of Familiar of Zero, The Heroic Legend of Arslan (which I never got around to checking out this season), White Album 2... There's more on my Hulu and Crunchyroll queues, but those are the ones I'm most interested in. From the upcoming season, I also plan on checking out Akagami no Shirayuki-hime and maybe Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers in additon to the new seasons of Hetalia and To-LOVE-Ru.

Fruits Basket! And Story of Saiunkoku!

30. one anime conclusion you would change

Princess Nine. I used to have it rated a ten, but the ending has always really bugged me, so I dropped it down to a nine. With a better ending, it would definitely be a ten, though.

The reason I dislike the ending isn't because they lost -- although I certainly would have loved it if they had won -- but how they lost. If they had lost because the other team was legitimately better than them, that would be fine, but neither Ryo or Izumi played their best because they were distracted by their romantic woes concerning the other team's ace player. I hated that, because they probably would have won if Ryo and Izumi had focused solely on the game.
