No gold for the U.S. in the ladies' competition, but Sasha Cohen did win the silver, which is still great. ^_^ Sure, I really wanted her to win gold, but I'm glad that if the top honor had to go to someone else, it was Japan's Shizuka Arakawa. She's probably my second favorite Olympic eligible skater. Russia's Irina Slutskaya ended up with the bronze, while the two Americans, Kimmie Meissner and Emily Hughes, did very well, placing sixth and seventh respectively. Those two should have very bright futures ahead of them.
