As an early birthday present for herself, Mom bought one of those combo DVD/VHS players, and I must say, it's freakin' fantastic! No more having to switch the wires whenever we feel like watching a movie on the opposite player that's set up! Wahoo! Now, instead of being lazy whenever I'm in the mood to watch the parts of CCS and Sailor Moon that I have on VHS, I can actually go ahead and watch them without having to do anything but pop them in!

And, boy, that's a lot of exclamation marks! -_-;

As an extra bonus, I get to reclaim my DVD player. ^_^ The one we had been using was actually my 19th birthday present, but I let Mom hook it up in the living room so that everybody could enjoy it. (Plus, the TV in my room is pretty small, so I'd probably have to sit right in front of it to read subtitles.)

Anyway, what else has been going on? Well, I ended up restarting my Fire Emblem game yesterday since it was becoming obvious that I wasn't going to win the battle in the desert with the people still left in my party. I'm happy to report, though, that the second time has been a much more successful outing. ^_^ I haven't lost a person yet, and I'm already on Ch. 10. Go me!

I've also just sent the combined Ch. 6 and 7 of ATR off to my editors. Shockingly enough, I'm really happy with how this chapter turned out.

Yeah, I know. It's a miracle.

Well, I guess that's about it, really.
