Happy Halloween!
You know what’s a good CD to listen to on Halloween? Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Requiem”. I hadn’t listened to it for the longest time, but for some strange reason, when I got up this morning, I was in the mood to play it, so I pulled it out and listened to it for most of the day. It definitely fits the theme of the day, considering it’s supposed to be a funeral Mass.
Unfortunately, other than that, this Halloween’s been really boring. We didn’t even get trick-or-treaters tonight, although the weather certainly fit the holiday -- the stereotypical "dark and stormy night." Oh, well, all the more Tootsie Rolls for me. ^_^
You know, I miss the days when Halloween used to be fun. :( There was a time when it was tied for my favorite holiday -- the other being Christmas, of course -- and not just because it meant my birthday was two days later. I only ever went trick-or-treating once because of my shyness, but I still loved putting together costumes, handing out candy, carving pumpkins, and decorating the house for my annual birthday party/costume party/sleepover... *sigh* Those were the good ol' days.
I don't want to be turning 22. I want to be a ten-year-old again.
It's not fair!
