I gave up playing Sims 2 for Lent. Do I use all the extra time I have to do something...you know...productive?

Well, a few things, but mostly I just lurk in Sims communities and message boards, read Sim stories, and download custom content for the game, all while planning all the cool things I want to do with my Sims once I can play again.

On the plus side, I have managed to fight every urge I've had so far to pull up the game itself, even though I'm dying to see how my CC actually looks in the game. (And, believe me, they were strong urges.) I feel sort of accomplished about that. Still...

It's going to be a long month or so.

...Maybe you should add an adendum that you can't do any Sims related activity? ^^;;

Side note, I'm working on the next chapter for FF, so you better resist the Sims bug that day. :P

I think it's already to late to do that. *laughs* Besides, when I do start playing again, I probably won't be online much, so this is actually a good time to download all the custom content I want. (I found figure skating costumes! Now my Sims will have something fun to wear when they go to the rink, and I can live out my dorky skating fantasies.)

But I think I can manage to squeeze in a little editing in. ^_~ Yay, more FF!
