Gah, plot bunnies!

I recently got the School Rumble OVA from Right Stuf, so for the past couple of weeks, I've been doing a rewatch of the entire series in English. (Save for the OVA, of course. Since I had never seen it, I watched that subtitled.) Well, anyway, I finished up the rewatch last night, realizing I really, really, really like the pairing of Harima/Yakumo. Sure, I'vr always rather liked them, but I could never really decide which girl I liked best with him: Yakumo, Yakumo's older sister Tenma (who Harima is in love with, but is clueless about  his feelings for her), or Eri. Now I'm firmly in favor of Yakumo, to the point where I want to write a Harima/Yakumo fic in which Harima finally gets over Tenma and realizes he's in love with Yakumo. I've even already outlined the fic in my head. It wouldn't be too long, just six scenes if I stick strictly to the script, but I've already got my hands full with To Be By Your Side, which I'm hoping to finish by the end of August, and I've still got Melting Ice to get back to after that...

Gah!

In addition to that, I'm also in the middle of watching Death Note, which I've absolutely fallen in love with -- I'm already making plans to buy it whenever Right Stuf has a good sale -- and find totally ficable. No concrete story ideas for it yet, but I have a feeling some are lurking around, waiting for me to find them. -_-
