The Mizuno-Kitagawa Family

heavenly_pearlSo, remember back when I was planning Against The Rules - Sims Style - The Sequel? Well, that ended up being a lot more time consuming than I originally thought it would be, so I decided to give it up. However, I know a couple of people were interested in it, so here's a basic rundown of what happened with Ami's and Akira's family.
Here's the family portrait. Together, Ami and Akira had three kids (a son and twin daughters), while Akira had two more sons from other relationships. As you can obviously tell from the photo, one of those "relationships" was actually an alien abduction.
Here's Haruki Nishimura, the other son who wasn't in the family portrait since he lived with his mother, Maeko. (Before Ami and Akira got married, I played out Akira's and Maeko's canon engagement, and she got pregnant. I kind of consider Haruki non-canonical, though, since I mainly just wanted to see what their kid would look like.) Haruki is, er...kind of a player. (Romance Sim, you know.) *laughs* Akira actually has quite a few grandkids thanks to him.
The only "canon" grandchild Ami and Akira have (at the time I took these pics), though, is Yuki, son of their oldest child Ren and his teenage girlfriend (later wife) Hana Kino, who is the daughter of Makoto and Itto. Ren is a big Harry Potter fan, thus the glasses. (He even wore Ravenclaw underwear as a teen!)
And here are the twins, Umi and Marina. You can also see Mercury down there at the bottom of Umi's pic thanks to the menu not disappearing.
Marina is a bit of an anime otaku. She ends up marrying Daisuke Hino, son of Rei and Minako. (Heh, I installed a hack that allows for same-sex pregnancies and decided those two would be my guinea pigs. Don't know where that Y-chromosome came from; let's say the Silver Crystal did it.)
Umi, on the other hand, is a science geek like her parents. She's currently engaged to Ken Matsuno, which is all kinds of awkward since, you know, his mother tried to kill her father, and all. (Yeah, I had Yui and Hideki get married, even though they broke up at the end of ATR. Again, I just wanted to see what their kids would look like. They have another daughter named Maya, who actually bore Haruki one of those "non-canonical" grandchildren I mentioned earlier. ... It's one big, crazy messed-up family tree. -_-)
Finally, we have the alien progeny, Hikaru. I...didn't really think of a personality for him, since I never intended for Akira to get abducted in the first place. -_-
To round this post off, I know there were a few readers who were disappointed that I didn't write about Akira's and Ami's wedding in ATR. I still say they're the type to just go to city hall and fill out paperwork, but I love throwing wedding parites for my Sims, so here's a couple of pics.
When you marry the senshi of water, it's gotta be a beach wedding! (Their house is on the beach as well.) Guests are, from the left: Ami's mother Saeko (blue dress), Maeko Nishimura (purple dress), Makoto (green dress), Akira's mom Izumi (black dress), Akira's dad Nibori (the gray-haired man in front), and Akira's sister Junko (gold dress).
Why was Akira's ex-fiancee invited, you might be asking? Well, she ends up marrying Akira's brother Satoshi instead, and since Satoshi was invited to the wedding (though he isn't in the pic), it seemed rude not to invite his wife as well. (They have a daughter together named Kasumi, which makes her Haruki's half-sister and cousin. ... I told you this family was screwed up!)
