Hmm... I strangely like a lot of characters that other people find annoying, so this is hard to answer. However, I do vaguely remember one character that drove me crazy, although her name escapes me at the moment. I think she was from Ai Yori Aoshi? *goes to check Wikipedia* Yes, Mayu Miyuki! What I remember of her, she took the term "spoiled brat" to a whole nother level.

There's a lot of stuff in Ai Yori Aoshi that bugs me, these days. So much so that I'm kinda wondering why I have the manga at all.

I've only watched the anime, a long, long time ago. Don't remember much about it, other than Mayu was annoying, but the music was lovely.

On second thought, though, I should have picked Sae from Peach Girl for this question. Man, I don't know how I managed to forget her! She's right up there with Akito and Ryoki on my most hated charaters list.
