Missing volumes

Man, isn't it annoying when you go to a bookstore to buy some new manga and they don't have the volumes you want? I went to Waldenbooks today, intending to buy the next three volumes of xxxHolic (4-6) I need, but the only one they had of the three was Vol. 5, so I ended up getting that, along with Vol. 7 and 8. Plus, since they were having a buy four manga, get one free sale, I also got Vol. 1 and 3 (2 was missing) of a new title called Yurara that I thought looked pretty interesting.
What really annoyed me though is that Waldenbooks didn't have Emma either. After looking for it at my last trip to Barnes & Noble, I was so hoping that Waldenbooks would have it. :( It's strange that neither had it in stock, considering that I've heard a lot of good things about it. Seems like it would be a pretty popular title, but I guess it's possible that it is so popular that they can't keep them in stock (although I don't think I've ever seen it at either store). Oh, well, I suppose I can just order it through Right Stuf if I have to.
(Edit: I'm so glad that I decided not to get Marmalade Boy. I was very tempted, since it's by the same mangaka who wrote Ultramaniac, Cherish, and Kimi Shika Iranai, but I knew that it was a rather old title and it was missing some volumes. Turns out that Right Stuf no longer sells it and the B&N website only has previously owned copies, so I dodged a bullet there. It would suck to buy a portion of the series, only to find out you couldn't buy the rest (although I may look into these previously owned copies at B&N).)
