One year

One year today, samuraiter asked me to be his girlfirend.

Unfortunately, Valentine's and today were a bit ruined since we couldn't have our usual afternoon chat due to a power outage on his end, but he did call me a little earlier to say "Happy Anniversary." So nice to hear his voice. 

I have a great boyfriend. ^_^

Hey, this is random, but I've been hearing reviews about Bridge to Terebithia which are basically saying that while it was packaged as a fantasy movie, it totally isn't. And someone mentioned "a tragic turn not appropriate for all audiences." So it looks like it was closer to the book after all.

Yeah, I have too. Actually just got finished readng some reviews. Thank goodness it was just false advertising. Now I can safely watch the movie without wanting to kill the makers for ruining one of my favorite books.

(Heh, it seems that Katherine Paterson's son, the one whose friend's death inspired the book, wrote the screenplay, so he definitely wouldn't have messed it up intentionally by doing something like that.)
