Before I get to this week's review, sad news on the manga front:
CMX is shutting down. This is particularly bad news for me because I’ve had
Name of the Flower Vol. 1 and
Venus Capriccio Vol. 2 on backorder from Right Stuf since the beginning of February, along with a preorder of
VC Vol. 4 (which, according to the article, will be released next month, so I guess that‘s something). I wasn’t worried at first, because I remembered how long it took Right Stuf to send me those backordered
Cherry Juice volumes, but with this news, I’m not sure if I’m ever going to get them. Don’t care so much about getting the
Venus Capriccio volumes; they won’t be releasing the last volume anyway, so that series was a waste of money. (Ugh, I hate owning incomplete series! And I can‘t seem to find any scanlations either.) But I just need that one volume to complete
Name of the Flower. I hope they can get their hands on some back inventory somewhere. Also need to try to get my hands on some of the other (completed) CMX titles I’ve been wanting…
