What in the world possessed me to decide that Akira would be a chemistry professor? Sure, it seemed a good idea at the time, since it gave him a great excuse to have a dog named Mercury, but when you really think about, he could easily have been an astronomy or literature professor with a dog named Mercury. Heck, even a history professor with an interest in Ancient Rome would have worked. And yeah, maybe chemistry is more related to the Ami's field of interest, but literature is bound to be a required course and I could see her taking astronomy as an elective. Of course, without the chemistry angle, I would have lost the whole lab assistant thing, but I could have made Ami a TA or something...
WHY DIDN'T I THINK ABOUT THIS BEFORE?
*pulls out hair and sobs*
Okay, so maybe it's not that bad, but based on the PM I just got from Aglaia concerning the post I made a couple of weeks ago asking about laboratories in general, I'm starting to think that maybe I am way over my head in thinking I can actually write this story. I don't know if I can pull this off...
In happier news, I finished watching
A Little Snow Fairy Sugar today, and I must say that it is, hands-down, the CUTEST. ANIME. EVER. Seriously, you would have to be a complete cold-hearted b*****d if this series didn't make you feel all happy and gooey inside after watching it. It's really great for kids too. Nothing objectionable at all, unless you want to count the Saga-in-the-bathtub scenes that appear in almost every episode, but it's not like you actually see anything. I wonder if they have a boxset... If they do, I might seriously consider getting it. I need to remember to check it out the next time I go to Best Buy.
Anyway, before I get back to looking at this lab equipment site Aglaia told me about, how about a couple of quizzes?
